Device not connecting/syncing to app

I was having an issue with my device not syncing to the app. So I followed the steps, turned Bluetooth off, disconnected device, powered phone and device off, deleted app, redownloaded app, etc. However now I am unable to reconnect my watch to the app. the Bluetooth seems to be working, my phone is showing that the watch is connected. Just not on the app. It says there's an issue and asks me to follow the troubleshooting steps. Emailed customer support a few days ago but haven't gotten a reply yet

  • I have a forerunner 35 if that changes/helps.  I just want to know if this is a fixable issue or if it's an issue with my device so I should start looking for my warranty  :/

    Garmin 6X pro is not syncing with iPhone 11 ... even with higher internet speed. But Apple Watch sync like anything .

    It need to be addressed soon by Garmin or they will loose potential customers

    Same brand new Fenix 6X having constant problems syncing with iPhone 11. Very frustrating as I really like the Fenix 6X

    I am having the same issue. My Venu says it is connected to my phone but the app isnt picking up the watch. Have followed all trouble shooting steps

    I have a Fenix 5 Plus and having same issue that in the App it appears that the watch is not connected and will not sync. Have done both power down on phone and watch to no avail. Still not syncing. Bluetooth shows the watch as “connected” but on the App it continues to indicate the watch is not connected 

  • delete and reinstall the garmin app. PITA, but it worked for me.
