FenixSPlus. ‘Disconnect’ and ‘connect’ notifications

I keep getting ‘disconnect’ and ‘connect’ notifications as I move away from and toward my phone. My watch is constantly buzzing. How do I stop this? Besides throwing the watch out the window.

On your watch > settings > phone > alerts - toggle off and you won’t get any further notifications.

Same problem with my vivoactive hr. Hopefully there is an easy fix. Mine is driving me crazy as well!
