Messages not coming through Fenix 5 with ios 13

If having the entire text show on the iphone screen in necessary to get messages then rather than get a new garmin which i was about to do i guess it’s time to reluctantly get an apple watch.

If you are running for less than 4-5 hours for your peak events, then the Apple Watch has to be a serious contender regardless. If you have a few events that are longer, then Garmin (or the other high end fitness watch manufacturers) really is the only way forward.

Understood but the rest of the time when I’m at work and with family which is more often than when I’m working out i can’t have the full messages showing on the screen so i Have no choice. It’s disappointing for garmin to force me to change i mean why go back in time and inconvenience your customer? So few people want the message to show this should have never become an issue and been resolved. Seems below Garmin’s standards. If wahoo creates a watch and add a few features it will surpass garmin very quickly. I do want to stay loyal to garmin but you’re making it difficult.
