Weather not getting updated after latest IOS update in Iphone X

Hey there,

after the recent IOS Update 13.1.3, my weather widget (Garmin pre-installed) does not get updated on my Fenix 5x PLus and also on my older Fenix 5. The connect app does react a bit strange in general regarding the location check as it uses a lot of background action as I can see in the battery info.

It seems to happen only on my iphone X, on my company phone (iphone 7) it does working the same way as ever, although the same IOS update was installed there.

On the iphone X, I simply do not get weather updates. I tried unpairing, pairing again etc., nothing helps. As it happens on two watches, it is not watch related, but strange enough, it does also not happen on the iphone 7, there everything works normal, so it seems to an issue with the Connect App and the latest IOS version on the iPhone X.

I just got a FR 645M and the weather refuses to work on iOS with my iPhone X as well. Everything else works EXCEPT adding my Discover card to Garmin Pay (but another card, a Visa, works). That may be another IOS casualty...

I have the exact same problem.

Everything works exept the wether. In daily lifeit doesn’t matter it just drives my crazy when something doesn’t work

Connection to connect seems to be on/off randomly

GARMiN fix this please

I tried this just now and the weather updated straight away so will see if it helps from now on.

This doesn't really work. Look at your device in garmin connect, not just the top of the main screen. Choose the 3 dots at the bottom, go to device and choose the device. You will likely see a red exclamation point and it isn't really working properly.

tried it just now, works only the first time after pairing, as soon as you restart your watch, you get „ waiting for data“ again....

I think this is all tied into the really bad iOS 13.1.3 and Garmin Connect issue referenced here as this as also died on me:

Never mind this doesn't work because it's not updating after wards.

I think it is Garmin Connect who fixed something and then breaks another so the developers are just bad.

I was on the latest beta and all problems came after the last Garmin Connect update.
