Only receiving call notifications after switching to iPhone 11 on my Forerunner

I recently switched to the iPhone 11 and now I do not receive any notifications on my forerunner 935

all notifications are on, setting all looks right. Toggled things on and off, as well as disconnected and reconnected the device itself. Help!
