Fenix 6X keeps getting disconnected from Bluetooth, have to reboot watch

My old fenix 3 had a stable connection to my phone, but I find each time I open Connect my 6X is disconnected. iPhone X

if I power cycle the watch it connects and Connect sees it.

suggestions? Thanks.

  • It's happening on Fenix 5xPlus and iOS 12.4.1 too... same issues. Constantly loses sync, and have to restart one or more devices to get it functioning. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

This is a constant issue with Garmin apps it seems. It's frustrating that DEVs can't QA their apps before dropping them to the public and breaking stuff.

It happens the same to me. Brand New Fénix 6X, Always disconnected when I try to sync it with IPhone XR.

My old Fénix 3, perfect connection.

Please Garmin, do something to sort it out.

  • Mine is working great now, the latest software updates seemed to do the trick!

  • My Fenix 6 keeps disconnecting from my iPhone X, while the Polar Grit X it’s always connected when within Bluetooth range. Beside, when I return from a run (I run with both watches) the Polar connects almost immediately, while the Fenix lags and sometimes doesn’t connect at all. No problem with WiFi. I have updated the software, rebooted, deleted and re-installed the app but no changes.
