4.22 Update Broke Ability to Sync Workouts?

On the workout screen in garmin connect, when clicking on sync icon, it says no connected devices and lists Forerunner 935 as not compatible.

Have tried restarting phone and watch. Also disconnected and reconnected watch from app.

Anyone else have this issue? Two of use have this exact same problem.

Forerunner 935 software version 14.10
IOS 12.4
App version: 4.22

FYI, was able to work around this issue by using garmin express to sync via laptop instead of from the app

that is not a good work around.

all is working again by using 4.21.1
