Connect IOS App not pairing with 1030

Hi, Long time Garmin Edge user, have tried connecting my Edge 1030 to Connect app it allows me to select my 1030 but as soon as I press start a pop up screen comes up saying ,select accessory’ within there its blank cant select anything and won’t let me go any further to pair the device.  

This is very frustrating have tried re installing app etc but just won’t let me get past this point. 

Any my help would be highly appreciated.

    How long are you waiting when it displays the "select accessory" page? It takes longer than you would think and the app gives no indication that it is still doing anything. Let it sit there for a few minutes and in my experience the device will show up as long as you have followed the instructions up to that point. 

  • I am having the same issue, let it sit ten minutes in Select An Accessory and nothing ever happened.

    I managed to get this work somehow. Part of what I did was to set up the Garmin Edge using Garmin Express first. Then I reinstalled Garmin Connect from scratch, set iPhone to forget Edge 1030 connections (both BT_1030 and Edge 1030, I believe they were named), reboot iPhone.
