How do you rename a course in Garmin Connect Mobile for iOS?

I was able to create a course on using said software, but it gave it a name of "Cycling Jul 18" some what automatically.  Is there a a way to rename it?   Once this course was transferred to an Edge 830 it was fairly easy to rename it there.  But there should be someway to rename it at the source before syncing it.

    I just figured this out myself, it’s not at all obvious. Tap on your course, pull up the elevation card from the bottom and scroll all the way down. There’s a button to edit the course. Tap that to go into the course name to edit it. I don’t know why Garmin wouldn’t add the edit option to the top right menu but there you have it.

    have just changed the name of a course, not obvious at all, designers need to change this one.

    This may be the least intuitive way to get to shat should be a standard control of any application EVER. Clearly no one at Garmin has ever seen an iPad.

    It's actually tap on course, select "Modify" from the menu activated by the 3 vertical dots top right (why there is no "Rename" option in that menu is beyond me), pull up the (invisible) elevation chart from the bottom, select "Name", change it, save changes. That looks like the solution to a puzzle game rather than how to use a UI. The web app is just as cryptic, took me forever to find it. Select the course, find the 3 dots at the bottom right of the box where the course name and details are listed, select Modify (no Rename here either, consistently cryptic), and then lo and behold there's a pen besides the name in the same details box. Click the pen (not the name, you fool), and there you are.

    The entire GUI and menu system is written with the intent to confuse. Great electronics. Fire the SW team and outsource it. Horrible!

    I still can't figure it out. On Android, I select course, modify, edit the name on the elevation page, but there's no "save" option anywhere. When I click on the back arrow, it says "exit with saving?" and the crappy user interface doesn't even have the option to save there!

    I somehow managed to change the name of a course on the Edge 830 but it didn't change in Connect after sync.

    Same situation here. The 'Save' button is present in the top right screen until I change the course name, then it disappears so I can't save the new name. I can't find any other way to save the new name from the app. Incredibly annoying.

    I still cant get this, i can change the name, then save dissapears? How frustrating though.
