Realized my vivosport wasn't connected via Bluetooth but BT is working fine. I removed device from Garmin Connect IOS app as directed in Troubleshooting, restarted phone, plugged in vivosport, and made sure Bluetooth was on - but no success. UGH!

I thought phone app would just recognize device if plugged in/near each other. If you actually read manual, you may know you need to hold down Vivosport face until you see Gear icon for settings, then scroll to select icon of phone w/bluetooth symbol. THEN app will find/connect.
