7-Day Training Load Graph shows wrong last day and week day

Hi Guys,

if you hold your finger at the graph in the most right possible position the app always shows a wrong date & week day as been the one of the last activity.

For instance I did an activity today but graph says Thursday 16th. Nonetheless the load is correct as the watch.

Regards,

  • Are you seeing the same issue on the Garmin Connect website? Could you provide a screenshot?

  • Hi, today is Friday 17th but the most far possível right shows wednesday 15th.

  • I'm having the sam issue on GC iOS and the Web...

  • Garmin Connect and Garmin Connect Mobile IOS presents the same behavior.

Today is May 18th but they only show till Wednesday 15th.

Besides the actual date , training load should also diminish if no activity is performed...

I'll send two screen shots from today before my morning activity and one from after.

      after today activity

  • Hi, after the latest update this problem was solved but we have a similar problem with VO2 graph.

I’ll create a new thread for that.

    tks

  • How do you get to that page on the web?

  • Hi,

I have the same issue in GC web version independent of browser in use. I have seen this issue every time a Garmin Express (Yes... Garmin Express)  version x.x.0.0 or x.x.1.0 is live. The only way to get the calc done when one of those Garmin Express versions is live, is by connecting my Garmin device via the USB cable to the PC/laptop at which I have Garmin Express installed.

  • Now 3 years later the same issue has reappeared (or actually it was never gone)

Whatever I do the 7-Day Training Load of today is nor calculated. Also the 7-Day Training Load is all of a sudden calculated on the Thursday so in the middle of the training week which is totally useless IThe 7-Day training Load was also in the week before summarized on the Friday which changed ALL 3 graphs, the 4 weeks, the 6Months and the 1 Year so your whole training load history is changed and therefor screwed up from week to week..

     See graphs hereunder

4 Weeks (which is actually only 3 weeks and a bit!) 7-Day Training Load calculation stopped yesterday

1 Year (which is actually only 11 Months!) graph which should show 7-Day Training Load value of the Sunday of every week and should show the same values and shape as the two 6 Months graphs on the same period hereunder

The two 6 Months graphs from last year until now which show:

    1. a strange hick up in the date range at the top in the last half year graph, there 2 weeks too many at the end and it is 2 weeks out of sync with the corresponding 1 Year graph
    2. two value dots very close to each other, both having a 7-Day Training Load value at the very end of the first 6 Months graph and they are both wrong
    3. the values in the 1st 6 Months graph from 23 July on are very unevenly distributed and ALL WRONG. None of the values displayed there is anywhere near the correct 7-Day Training Load. Some values are taken on a Monday, other on a Thursday randomly through this period in time
    4. There is a very big difference in the values of the 1st half year in the 1 Year graph and the 6 Months graph of the same period where they should be of course exactly the same

Conclusion: when this SW was developed obviously nobody bothered to even have a good look at it, let alone properly test it before putting it in production. These are far from corner cases in the usage of the Garmin Connect WebApp. These are plane blunders which need immediate fixing.

    1. The 7-Day Training Load needs to be the value reached at the end of the Sunday of every week
    2. The 4 Weeks graph must show 4 weeks, not 3 and a bit as it does now
    3. The 6 Monyhs graph must to show half a year, not only 5 Months and a bit and a 2 weeks useless gap at the end (it should start at 11-Sep-21 the latest not on 01-Oct-21)
    4. The 1 Year graph must show a whole year instead of only 11 Months and a bit as it does now (starts 02-Apr-21 where we're only at 11-Mar-22)
    5. Lat but not least: GE should not open double and calculation of the 7-Day Training Load must be done automatically at the start of the day and (updated) as soon as the device is synchronized, also if that's via a wifi-connection. So no need for syncing via USB and Garmin Express which is the case now
  • Garmin never have a look at any software they develope, that's our work my friend. We are the betatesters.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the changes in neuromuscular, perceptual and hormonal measures following professional rugby league matches during different length between-match microcycles. Twelve professional rugby league players from the same team were assessed for changes in countermovement jump
