SMS verification problem for Garmin Pay

Former Member

I would like to use Garmin Pay in the Netherlands with the support of my Rabo bank account. I have trouble of receiving SMS verification code while Garmin Pay (through the App) is tried to verify my bank account. My mobile provider in the Netherlands is T-Mobile. I have contacted Rabobank and I understood some sms servers are blocked by T-mobile. As far as I understood, the only method than I can verify my bank account at Garmin Pay is with the use of SMS verification code, and since this does not work I am having trouble of using my Garmin Pay. My question to your support team is that is there any other way or method that I can activate my bank account at Garmin Pay? How could you help me? Thanks in advance. Milad

Curve updated my mobile number themselves on my Curve account, to use the format +44 7890 123456

  • I called the phone number and my financial instution answered and after asking some account verification questions was able to send the verification. Works fine now.

  • Hello, i solved the problem (i live in Belgium and using Belfius as bank). First update your phone number in your garmin account (garmin.com) then update there your profile / phonenumber -> select your country or region for your preset number -> then add your phonenumber (i left the Netnumber empty). Then go back to garmin connect to add your desired card. Then use the verification and when you see that they send you a code, go to your app of your bank. There you will see in your inbox the garmin code so not via sms or text :) it worked for me so i hope that it will help you also.
