Garmin Pay stopped working - 'Please reset your device using Delete Wallet'

Have been using Garmin Pay on my Fenix 5S Plus since Christmas. Suddenly stopped working so tried to delete then re-enter credit card. Garmin Connect allows me to add card until final step when I keep getting message 'Please reset your device using Delete Wallet'. Anyone overcome this issue?
