Did anyone here get this resolved? I tried getting in touch with customer support but was told this thread was irrelevant as it's 5 months old. I was also told to go to Apple for support, because the Apple Health app "pulls" data from the Garmin Connect app, and the activity data was in there OK.
It felt like I was being basically told to go away, without any kind of attempt to investigate the problem. A quick check of the HealthKit API suggests that the Health app doesn't at all "pull" data from 3rd party apps, but the 3rd party app itself must use HealthKit to post across its activities. Something which other apps are managing to do just fine.
After a round of factory resetting the Garmin, logging out of and uninstalling Connect, creating new accounts to make the Source appear in the Health app, and logging back in and resyncing multiple times, the Activities appear in Health and Activity app.
Did a new ride this morning and nothing has gone across again. It's just plain buggy and unreliable. Same as the LiveTrack. Really not impressed as I assumed Garmin would have basic things like this nailed.
Oh, and the cycling activities that did post across were set by Garmin as Walking+Running activities. So they can't even get that right.
Yup. Just googling for a solution and found this. Still a problem. It’s syncing with Komoot and another fitness app I use, but not the iOS Health app, although other information is.... the patchyness is infuriating.
No. I’ve been trying for at least 3 years. Very frustrating!!!
