Sending Workouts/Training Plans to devices (started happening recently)

It used to work fine, for a long time, but now I cannot send structured workouts to 935 anymore. GC Mobile and 935 find each other and synchronize, but GC Mobile cannot send neither a structured workout nor the calendar with workouts. I tried starting the sync from the 935, using wifi our bluetooth; in both cases it syncs, "transfers" and "updates", but the workouts do not appear in 935.

The only way to send a structured workout is to connect the 935 using the USB cable and then send it using Garmin express, which is cumbersome.

I already tried the normal things such as switching on and off the 935, Garmin Connect Mobile, and unpairing the 935 from the phone and adding the 935 just after. I also cleaned all history so that memory isn't a problem.

It may be a coincidence, but apparently this problem started after the 935 software was upgraded to v12.

Thanks.

I believe the idea being the watch software causing the issue to be true and not the android app.

Yes, this successfully solved the problem. Thank you ever so much.

    Didn't work for me... :-(
  • I had the same issue last fall with my F5. Then I was able to send the end of a training plan (without doing anything special) thru Garmin Express.
Yesterday I connected the watch to the computer, I gave it a try, it worked for the 5 sessions left that were on the calendar. So I spent some times on the computer in order to add the 3 month-training program beginning in march : it no longer works.
It's not a matter of size as I've done it before.
Garmin will do nothing about it, and the process to delete the workout folder didnt make it.

    Does not work for me
  • Garmin Garmin-Joey Up ! Still no news. Support said working on the issue near than two month ago
  • This still doesn't work. I'm on Garmin 12.5 and iOS 12.1.4. Would love to use one of these training programs but it's pointless.
