Garmin Connect 4.12 keeps crashing - UPDATE

Connect Mobile 4.12, iOS 12.0.1, iPhone X, keeps crashing on virtually any activity in the More menu.
I was trying to add a new Index Smart Scale, but whenever I go to the Add Device, the app crashes.
and if I cannot add the scale, it cannot be used. Maybe I’ll have to return the scale...

iPhone XS, IOS 12 & the app constantly crashes. It was fine up until the clocks changed.

Same problem. Garmin app version 4.12.0.14 crashes and closes after several seconds. iPhone 8 with ios12.0.
Problem started yesterday. Solution please.

I have the same problem here in Germany. Newest app on iPhone XS Max, Fenix 5S Plus and Vivosmart 4. Very annoying :(

The only good thing: I can synchronize with my Fenix via Wifi to winn my weekly challenge :D

Same here. Crashing all the time with whatever the latest version of Connect is, I thought it was just syncing but it is happening under all activity after a few seconds after launching the app. Dreadful. Don’t they ever test these things? IOS 12.0.1 iPhone 8. Had a look around the phone restrictions and curiously the app doesn’t seem to be asking for location use permission as it’s not listed in the restrictions apps...? Either way right now the app is 100% useless and not even paired with my watch as it crashes before I can re-pair. Help Garmin!

The provisory "solution" was already provided... don't let the app connect with Apple health. It works!
