Garmin Connect 4.12 keeps crashing - UPDATE

Connect Mobile 4.12, iOS 12.0.1, iPhone X, keeps crashing on virtually any activity in the More menu.
I was trying to add a new Index Smart Scale, but whenever I go to the Add Device, the app crashes.
and if I cannot add the scale, it cannot be used. Maybe I’ll have to return the scale...

    Does anyone experience the issue that app thinks that all the data comes from the future (+1 hour)? So i.e. HR, steps they are traced correctly but in-app and in the web they are shown +1 hour ahead local time. Also interesting is if I track activity i.e. treadmill it is shown at that time when it actually happened.
    So if someone has the same symptoms, did the der_schmidt workaround help you? Or did it fix the sync problem only?

    Vivoactive 3 Music
    iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 12.0.1.

    Indeed , since this morning with 3 different Garmin watches (Fenix 3, Fenix 5 and Fenix 5X) connected to three different iPhones (8, 8 Plus and the new Xmax), whenever I try to open the garmin connect app, it crashes after 10 seconds on all devices. This was not the case yesterday. And no update of app on App Store so this has to be linked with the change of timing (summer/winter time) ??

    Glad its not just me, iPhone x, keeps crashing. Deleted and reinstalled, still keeps crashing...

    Same here, but this workaround helped for me for now:

    Disable Apple Health Sync in iPhone settings

    @Garmin: Please fix


    Was struggling with the same problem. iPhone 7 with iOS 12.0.1 and Garmin Connect 4.12
    Thank you for your solution! Now it works again!!

    Me too. iOS 12.01. Worked fine yesterday. Crashes 15-20s on opening regardless of activity.

    My Fenix 5X Plus crashes every time after startup after 24 seconds. That is frustrating.

    I’ve been having the same problem. Started this morning. I did notice that my watch had gone back 2hrs prior to its first sync of the day.
