Forerunner30 problems

Getting really frustrated with garmin support how long it takes to get replies. I believe my Forerunner 30 is faulty. It registers intensity minutes even when I’m sitting. Anyone experience the same? Any solutions? Also just recently having problems pairing the device to iphone. Any ideas?
