iOS 12 lack of notifications on Fenix 5s Plus

Ever since I updated to iOS 12 (public release, not beta) I haven't been getting any notifications on my watch. I've checked Garmin connect and none of my notifications have been changed. Is there a fix for this?
  • It's an iOS 12 bug. Try to fix that disconnect Bluetooth from settings and reconnect. It works for me.

Every night since updating to iOS 12 on Monday, I've had to disconnect and re-add my 935 in order to get notifications to work. Any idea on how/when this will be resolved?

    FIX!
When Apple updated to IO12, they deleted 'Show In History' so if you didn't have your app notification set up with the 'Notification Centre' box checked, you'll no longer receive notifications.
But it's not obvious that this needs to happen, and I couldn't find the answer online anywhere (including the Garmin online help centre).

Here's the simple fix: On iPhone, all apps need to have the 'Notification Center' checkbox ticked. To do this, go to Setting>[AppName]>Notifications>Notification Centre (checked).

    And it'll work.

    Hi Mardo,
I tried your suggestion and not all notifications are coming through, and definitely not text messages. In fact, there are now three radio button options to I have Fenix 3 with the latest firmware and I'm running IOS 12.0.1.

I'm trying for days to find the solution .... The solution was found with your proposal. Thank you very much
  • I have the same issue. I have notification settings to go to notifications center and still not getting notifications.....
  • Fenix 5x and IOS 12 on an i8. Notifications have truncated. I have completely reset the iPhone and the Watch...no joy yet. Checked and my Notification Center is on for all notifications. IOS 12 also triggering reboot of my phone consistently....so there may be several demons to this particular issue....
