Incorrect data sent to HealthKit, but correct data in connect app

Data in the Garmin connect app is correct, but when I check apple health, I see incorrect data for resting and active energy. Additionally, data for flights and distance only have one entry covering the period between 12:00 am and 11:59 pm. This leads to conflicts when there is more than one data source, as the times don;t match, leading to double counting. Is this a bug, or is there something wrong with my setup?
