Live Track : Facebook isn't available why

Hello,

I often use this function.
Since the last update facebook is no longer available !!

Why ?

Someone knows the reason or the new choice of Garmin ?

It's a pity.

I used often facebook on live track !!

I email myself the link then copy to Facebook post. Least people can then find you if you’re ina ditch somewhere. The Wahoo Bolt apparently still posts to facebook. Might have to consider a change in device…

It would be great to just have the option to generate a link and copy to clipboard so we can share in any app, messenger, sms, WhatsApp etc

Random stab in the dark: IT security issue, legal issue, or commercial issue. None of which has to do with what an individual user may want, and certainly not something on which the individual user has to be consulted before making a business decision.

It still seems to work on Twitter... why not on Facebook?

Facebook has recently made platform policy changes as referenced in the following Facebook developer blog post. As a result of these policy changes, Garmin has temporarily disabled the LiveTrack share via Facebook feature. As an alternative, users seeking to share a LiveTrack may continue to do so via email, or Twitter. We will continue to evaluate these requirements and the best options moving forward.

YES!! Facebook used to be there but this post is 2 years old and they are still "Looking into it" sad really but the ability to create a Link (which used to be there too!!) would allow us to share the link on facebook via copy and paste.

regrettable not having to share with facebook anymore. could at least generate a way to copy the link
