Adding calorie intake

Hi
i have recently started using a Garmin vivoactive HR. it’s a great product and I get a lot out of it. I ride a bike to work daily and on weekends and I love all the data that the unit collects.
The main issue I find with this product is with the calorie tracking. I am on a keto diet and use a keto app to track my calorie, carb, protein and fat intake. It would be great to be able to add my daily calorie intake to the app but unfortunately it seems the only way to add calorie intake is to use the My fitnesspal app , which is not built for keto dieters.

This is is unfortunate and IMO an oversight as you are already allowed to manually add activities to the app, so it should be made possible to manually add calories too.

im interested to know other opinions on this
  • Yes manually adding would be simple.  They should add it.  They sync with fitnesspal but I don't want to use fitnesspal at this time since I just track calories in a google spreadsheet.  It is much easier that way then entering things in fitnesspal.

At MFP you can enter just the daily Calories intake as a single value too, if you prefer, without the need to take care about anything else there.
