IOS 12 Beta and Garmin Connect for Iphone

Not sure if anyone has been doing any beta testing with the new iPhone IOS 12 beta 3, I was part of a beta testing and found that in IOS 12 beta I can no longer get notifications on the Fenix 5. In IOS 11, the "Show in History" is what triggers the notifications for messages, calls and etc..... That "Show in History" doesn't appear at least not beta 3. Not sure if anyone has seen this and found a way around it or not. Maybe Garmin will be working on a newer version that will work without the Show in History option. Wanted to throw this out there, at least for me it is a concern as I depend on the notifications to come across my Fenix 5. Thanks,
  • Garmin are under no obligations to make their software work with beta versions. By all means contact Garmin and let them know, but if the notifications are that important, take the beta version off and wait for the official release.
  • TBH, I'm surprised that app vendors don't solicit people, who are using beta OS versions, to test their app and provide feedback.
  • They will get it working a few months after Official release.

hehe, what makes you that optimistic? ios 11 is out for a year soon and the app is still full of bugs...

I agree this is Beta and hopefully Garmin will come out with a fix, wasn't sure how many out there were beta testing IOS 12 to see if there is something I missed. I am back on iOS 11.4, but wanted to get a feel out there. Never know, I could have missed something, or the "Show in History" may just appear in Beta 4. Thanks all,

I am talking about the notification issue. The other bugs will remain for a couple of years.
