We should better all write emails to Garmin to inform them about iOS 12 appearing. For BaseCamp on MacOS, they where surprised all of a sudden that they have to change the software to 64bit. It seems Apple didn't call them seperatly and nobody saw this comming...
RobinB72, you said your Fenix 5x works fine, does it get notifications from your iPhone? I have the 5S and since the the "Show in History" is gone from the notification settings I can no longer get iPhone alerts for texts and stuff on my 5s. Did you do anything differently?
iOS 12 is all set to release worldwide soon but its beta version is out for users as well as for developers. Even many users are eagerly waiting for the day of iOS 12 release to experience new features. But there are few things that you should do before installing iOS 12 and also know which devices are going to support iOS 12. See here: https://android-ios-data-recovery.co...orted-devices/
I've been using IOS 12 for a while now. The app connects ok with the Fenix 5 and for the most part works ok. Occasionally it can go into a complete stutter mode, won't scroll smoothly at all. This seems to be a Garmin Connect thing as all other apps I use run 100% ok. IOS12 has been very stable and I use it as a daily IOS.
Heya. I loaded iOS 12 (iphone 7) on the weekend and have noticed (connecting to my fenix 2):
1. Bluetooth doesn't connect the first time. I have to turn off BT and turn it back on and the connection works; and 2. My Day (home screen) doesn't refresh after the data upload. I either have to go through Activities to see my activity or reboot the app.
Neither are extremely frustrating but bugs to workout nonetheless
