New maps edge 1000

New maps for the Edge 1000 won’t load correctly!! Any advice?

I have the same problem. My map disc is 3.97 gb. I’ve had the map disc and edge 1000 for a few years. The new map download is bigger than the map disc’s capacity. Surely there is an error.
