While doing the usual brainless changelog in the app store, the update did break quite a few functions only to insert one useless function:
When you want to manage Apps/Widgets/Watchfaces/Datafields, there is a new useless function, favourites. I don't want to use it because i don't trust Garmin that they tried it in advance. For implementing it, they broke some other important management functions:
-There aren't anymore all installed watch faces listet, the same for data fields.
-Items with an update available in the IQ Store are missing, so updates are not possible anymore
-sorting items is not possible any longer
I have two requests toward the developers:
1. Fill out the changelog forms in the Appstores (isnt that hard, can be done in english). Only thing you need to know to do it: what did you change (or send an email to me explaining the changes and i will write you a small text to copy and paste)
2. If you change elementary functions, get yourself some real working devices and just try to use the old and the new version. If you change ConnectIQ item management, it would be cool to not only test activity sync, but also item management
