View battery status of device on Connect App

Is it possible to view how much battery life is left on my device by looking at the app? It would be good to have a notification say when battery is down to 30% - for instance. Sometimes I lose track of my battery life until it’s too late. Is this something that could be incorporated? Thanks
  • This would be an excellent feature. E.g. when you not wearing the watch and the watch is on charge you can easily check battery level from the app before going out on an activity. Please add this feature!

  • Other bluetooth devices like my MiBand 6 can report the batter and I can add a widget to the iOS screen to see. It would be great if my $1000+ garmin device were as smart as my  $30 band. (:

  • I've merged several threads into this main thread. Note some of the suggestions posted previously. For me I find it very easy, with the watch face set to show battery status (epix Gen 2), to just glance at my watch. But I understand if people have their reasons to need it on the Connect app.

Its simpler to see on a phone layout (with notifications) than to scroll through minute text of multiple screens on the watch.

It is not that complicated. Just push the left button in the middle of your watch for a few seconds and percentage and days left just pop up.

There has been a lot of discussion related to this, However, it is unlikely that you will get an official answer from Garmin here. If you want this feature, you can submit your request using the Share Ideas form - https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/
  • Watch battery, Not Body Battery.

Sincerely though, z Thank you for the reply.

  • It would be nice to get it through the app so that in the case of charging the watch you could look at your phone and know when it's through charging.  And another case it would be good when you're going through your connect and stats to be able to look at it and go oh I see my battery is down to 20 30% or whatever and plug it in and charge it when appropriate.

But thank you for the tip it is useful.

  • It would be perfect when I get informed from Garmin Connect when the battery of my watch is fully charged.

  • It's not so important to have this indicator, but to have notification to charge the device when it drops to 15-25%

  • Agree that this is a issue...no battery stats nor discharge graphs.

    Plz implement Garmin

  • This would indeed be a very handy function. I have a Garmin watch for less than a week and I missed this functionality first time I charged the watch. I had this function for all the watches I used upto now, even some very cheap ones. Garmin, please implement

  • Still no joy... C'mon Garmin
