Problem with maps and elevation in the last month

I already posted this in the FR30 sub forum but maybe this is the right place
I bought a Forerunner 30 about 2 months ago, and in the last month I’m having a problem which I’ve been unable to resolve.
I can set the time on my watch via GPS. When I go for a run, the watch says “GPS is ready” and while I’m running I can see my pace, distance, etc.
When I sync my activities with the Garmin Connect App, the map and elevation data are missing. I can see my distance, bpm, spm, speed, etc, but no map and no elevation.
I’ve done a hard reset and the problem is still there.
I don’t know if I turned off something by mistake, or if there is a problem with the app (iOs 11.3). My app is also updated.

    Hello!
I have similar problem with bike activity on April 22 - I don't see the map and charts of elevation, pace and heart rate in app. Garmin Connect app is connected with Endomondo app. What is very intereseting - I see all data of this acitvity in Endomondo, but in Garmin Connect not...
My watch is Garmin Forerunner 35 for 2 weeks.
  • since this post, I ran two times. in the first time I uploaded the activy manualy at garmin connect website, and it went ok.
today i tried this again, but the problem persists.

I really don't know what to do.

It seems that I have a similar problem with graphs (FR645 and Garmin Connect IOS) which occurred today for the first time.

I synced my ride with the app and saw all data (HR, speed, etc. even incl. the map). But the graphs are not displayed correctly - obviously not synced correctly since it is also wrong in the Garmin Connect Web Portal. All graphs (HR, Elevation, Speed, etc.) show a more or less steady line at the average value (some are slightly increasing or decreasing, some have peaks at the end). Two interesting things to add - the moving time is 168+ hours (on a 1:18 h ride ;-)) and the activity is not synced to Strava (though the app is connected correctly).

Any idea where´s this issue coming from and how to fix is?

    Thanks,
    Showman

Google changed recently its policy about Google Maps. All applications using gmaps have now to pay to use the service. It is no more free (for developpers, but still free for end users)
I think this is part of the reason that we no more see the map, Garming didn't accept yet to pay.
I have a similar issue, with the same error message, with a free application to get fuel prices around me.
