Sending workouts training plans to devices NOT fixed

Despite the message sending workouts to device was solved still, in my case, an issue:

3 Weeks ago send manual made workouts to my Fenix 5. This was a 10 weeks, 3 times a week plan (10x3 workouts). The upload went fantastic. Later, I removed the first 2 workout for I thought I wouldn’t need them anymore, but later wanted to add them again. No matter what I tried, it was not possible to upload them again. Sinchronizing went fine but the 2 workouts were nowhere to be found except the ones I uploaded before. Today I reset the Fenix 5 completely and was able to upload 28 workouts instead of 30 (10x3 a week). Can anybody PLEASE help me out here? I will be most gratefull!
Thanks, Peter.
  • Garmin ... Are you just incompetent or are you just ignoring your customers ? No hotfix ... not a single news about workout upload and sleep monitoring. Still doesnt work !

Update on upload issue which is still NOT fixed depite the message from Garmin-Joey on march 15th 2018 that the issue is fixed.

On april 9th I contacted Garmin in The Netherlands to help me (us) out with this issue.
Kelly, from Garmin The Netherlands, replied that the issue was known and "they" were looking for a sollution a.s.a.p.
Today, April 14th, I downloaded and installed, the Garmin Connect update 4.5.2 but still the problem of not uploading all workouts excists so the problem is still not been solved.

    Next to the above problem.
I found out that email notifications are not being displayed on my Fenix 5.
All other messages, such as Whatsapp and safety/security notifications come in like before.
This issue i've intergrated into the mail w.r.t. the upload issue and asked to come up with a sollution at the same time. So far no reply!!

So to support Hvars more or less in his comment/question; I won't say you guys (Garmin) are incompetent....but I do sense a scent of ignoring us? you could at least give as an update on a daily basis??

    Update on above mentioned issue:

Garmin is aware of the problem but it cannot be solved at this moment. One of the given sollutions was to download and install Garmin Windows Webupdater; a program that might do the trick....didn’t work.
Another sollution: Garmin can and is willing to replace the watch for a new one....BUT....this is not a new NEW one. It is a ‘NOH’ model; Newly OverHauled.

This means that another watch which is also causing ‘a problem’ is overhauled, factory-checked and send as ‘good as new’. Strange!!!......for I bought MY watch brand f***ing new!!

Garmin was going to send the watch (after receiving mine first) in a bubble wrapped envelope instead of the original box as I bought it. On my remark if the watch could be damaged again due to this way of packing the answer was simple; that’s possible.
On my question how long this all would take before all was done the answer was 14-20 days....

My own sollution: I decided to contact the shop (Coolblue Netherlands) where I bought the first one. Answer: No problem whatsoever....I can return the watch and get a full refund or I can swap it for a BRAND NEW IN THE BOX FENIX 5 WITH FULL 2 YEAR GUARENTEE!

Total time to do this swap is 2hrs (1 hour to drive there and one hour to drive back home. I guess I’ll drive the 2 hours.

The employee of Garmin helpdesk Netherlands did her upmost best to help me where possible but at the end the sollution to replace a new bought watch for a secondhand is beyond stupidity (Garmin Protocol not the employee)

It seems that my fellow commentator seems to have a point afterall.....Garmin is incompetent.
