Changelogs a Joke

In the german App Store, there are useless changelogs even if there are important changes like on device route creation. There is always only the obligatory „general improvement“. Please use the English changelog if you can’t afford someone doing the translation.
  • Pretty standard, unfortunately, for many app developers.
  • I know, but it isn't getting any better.

If a small Studio or some freelancing developers only use standard phrases, it is totally different from a global player doing it. I bet, if they search in their system, there will be local representatives which could translate the Changelog.
Or there can be translators found. But there is no money earned with connect, the only important thing is the first purchases of the devices.

I really want to give some Kudos to Xiaomi for doing it in Chinese language and typeface in every app store. This is consistent and straightforward.
  • FWIW: I'm considering changing my professional resume (I'm a software developer) to "Bug fixes and performance improvements" ... much simpler. :p
  • For shure it is simpler. And i wouldn't be mad at you if you do it in languages not your native tongue. Lets assume you are an english native and can even talk solid Spanish, i wouldn't expect you to deliver changelogs in french, german, russian, chinese, Japanese...
But for Garmin, it should be easy to do those languages.

Even new features like in app route creation had to be discovered by accident
