Garmin connect on my iPhone is saying that the servers are down for maintenance, yet the Garmin website shows that everything is online. Not sure what to believe?
I get the server error message in Garmin Connect Mobile apps on both Android and iOS at the moment, and yes, I can still access my Garmin Connect account information using a browser. You should not, however, assume ‘server’ necessarily means the ‘engine’ of the cloud-based Garmin Connect service; there could be some front-end servers that deal with syncing with Garmin Connect Mobile apps, and a different (Web) server for dealing with HTTP requests.
