Can't add square photo to activity

Hi,
just spotted that whenever I try to add a square foto to an activity in GCM I get an error message. Adding a landscape photo immediately after works perfect. Tried it several times with different activities/photos, same behaviour. Can anyone confirm this?

If you say you're getting an error message, I'll take your word for it. I can neither confirm nor refute your subjective experience.

I'm not getting an error message when uploading a square image to an activity in the Garmin Connect Mobile app, either on my iPad Air or on my Android tablet.

Ok, so it's a issue with my account/activity/iPhone and no general issue ;-)

If you can provide as much information as possible about the exact nature of what you are doing it may be possible for others to replicate it:
e..g
- device type/make/model/OS
- GCM version

Ok, now I can't upload any photos anymore :-(
iPhone 8, iOS 11.2.6 (latest)
GCM 4.4.0.19
