Sleep recording

For the last several days, my vivioactive HR has not been recording sleep despite wearing it at night. I have not done any updates to my phone but do have my Viviactive updated. What is causing this and is there a way to correct it?

    I don’t know the answer but I’m having this problem too. Ever since Sunday, it hasn’t recorded any sleep data. Most other features seem to be working... I wonder if it might be a bug related to daylight savings? I saw a previous thread from 2016 where people were having this issue because of a time zone glitch.
  • Exact same issue here. Although the sleep data is being recorded as when I go to Garmin web the time that I sleep/awake is there. However, it thinks that I am not wearing the device and there is no movement data associated so it can't calculate deep/light sleep periods. I have been wearing the watch at night and it has been functioning properly since I am able to see HR data for the entire night. I think this is a back-end issue that Garmin is having, similar to the problem with the weight cards in MyDay not showing which, they have just fixed but may have broken sleep in the process.

    Same with my 235 + ios. Happened several months ago too for almost a week until they fixed it.
  • Same issue and if I edit my sleep time, it won’t update the My Day page with the new sleep time even though it shows on the sleep screen. Started the same time as the others.
  • Garmin - any update on this? I continue to have this issue. Also, I can add that it is not iOS-specific. I just moved over to Android (GS9+) and I continue to have this problem. Everything else on my new phone is working. It must be a back-end problem. The basic sleep feature when it works is satisfactory for me but it is a feature that Garmin continues to struggle with to get it to be a reliable.
