Dfference in steps count in Garmin Connect and watch (Fenix 3)

Hi,

I have discovered that there is a difference in number of steps counted during last Tuesday in Garmin Connect and on the watch (Fenix 3). The Connect shows 9228 steps (see picture) while the watch shows 10024 steps (see picture). Is there something wrong with connect? Is there a way to correct it to make the steps count be as on the watch? Other days look correct. Please advise.

  • Yup, I have the same issue. Circa 11k steps on the garmin app, but noticed only 8.5k had gone into MyFitnessPal. Looking into the windows, on the step details page it shows the same as MFP. But the home ‘daily Summary page’ it shows the 11k.

Seems pretty strange, and maybe new behaviour? What’s the deal Garmin?

Different age groups have different entertaining activities. Playing computer games is also a very good way of refreshing yourself and taking a break from the daily hard routine of your Sonic the Hedgehog This is the mode of apkpure.to entertainment which is usually used by young kids and teens.

    useful input there spambot lol.
  • I think I win. I woke up this morning and my watch (Descent MK1) said I'd done 103 steps. Garmin Connect Mobile had over 18,000 - and I did them in 6 hours time.

    Haha, good effort!

Damn the Descent looks so smart. I'm on the edge of buying, but following the forum people aren't too happy with it atm :(

I see no issues with it as a dive computer. There are a couple of silly design decisions (displaying seconds in NDL and the End Dive Delay) but neither of them affect the core dive computer function. Most of my issues are related to the Garmin environment which always has problems and can happen with any of their devices.
