Since the 4.3 update, my wife and I are both unable to edit activities via Garmin Connect Mobile on our iPhone 8+ phones. She uses an FR935, I have a VA3. Both devices sync timely and properly with GCM. The activities are editable on garmin.com, and the edits made on garmin.com propagate to GCM correctly. But no error of any kind can be made on GCM ("Network Connection Error").
So, I've noticed that the temporary "fix" folks are mentioning does work; however, when you then try to change the privacy back to "connections" only, it still results in the network error. Not really a "fix" to me :(

Only in the Garmin Connect Mobile app. See my earlier post in this very thread; I have every reason to believe you can successfully change your privacy settings back to My Connections (if you must!) on your iOS device, as I have on mine in my experiment.

Garmin's position is that it is a work-around. Nevertheless, it will allow you to accomplish what you want functionally, by doing things in a way you wouldn't normally do (and probably don't like doing – but that's up to you to negotiate between the parts of yourself, that want the outcome and want to stubbornly assert control over how, respectively).
I was also having this problem. Changed the privacy of my last activity from "My Connections" to "My Groups and Connections" and that seems to have worked.
We are expecting an app update in the coming days that will fully resolve this issue. Thank you for the continued discussion and we apologize for any inconvenience.
There definitely is a problem as y'all have noted. I have set my default for privacy as either Private or My Groups and Connection. The setting of My Connections - consistently leads to not being able to save any changes. I did not try setting to Everyone - I suspect it is a glitch with My Connections setting that is causing the problem
