Since 4.3 update, both of us are unable to edit activities (on GCM only)

Since the 4.3 update, my wife and I are both unable to edit activities via Garmin Connect Mobile on our iPhone 8+ phones. She uses an FR935, I have a VA3. Both devices sync timely and properly with GCM. The activities are editable on garmin.com, and the edits made on garmin.com propagate to GCM correctly. But no error of any kind can be made on GCM ("Network Connection Error").

    We appreciate the discussion on this topic. We are actively investigating the reports of this issue in order to get it resolved. In the mean time, if you are experiencing this issue, we would recommend that you edit the activity in Garmin Connect online or you can change the Privacy setting for the activity from 'My Connections' to 'Only Me, 'My Groups and Connections', or 'Everyone'.

    Currently the issue only occurs if the Privacy setting is set to 'My Connections'.

    Thanks for bringing up this topic—I thought I was the only one. I also have this error since the latest update of GCM. I opened a ticket with the German support and they suggested to completly uninstall and re-install the app (iPhone X with the latest iOS 11.2.5) and reconnect my ForeRunner 935 and so on. But it didn‘t work. So I hope Garmin finds a solution soon.

    And no, changing the privacy settings to an other one then ‚My Connections‘ does not work for me — or should this work for only new activities?

    I am having the same issues when editing on GCM. Changing privacy setting to only me makes no difference

    Are you making the Privacy change at the same time as the other edits?

    What happens if you just try changing the privacy for the individual activity?

    I tried changing privacy settings as well and got same network error. Also I added a new pair of sneakers to my gear and when I go into activity to add them they are not listed as a choice. I really hope these issues get fixed soon.

    Secondly I can confirm that for me I could edit an activity if I first changed security settings to “only me” (didn’t change anything else), saved, and then edit the post again, then I could save

    Hi Joey, when I changed the privacy in the activity itself it allowed me to make further edits. I was trying to change my overall privacy settings.

    Hi all
    Editing activity name works only via Garmin Connect website. Strangely my husband does not have the same error but it may well be because he has his privacy settings on everyone.
    After changing privacy setting:
    I do not get an error message when trying to save name change to activity on my iphone 6s after I changed my privacy settings... it worked perfectly.

    I am having same problem, can’t edit activity...get network connection error
