Mobile connect missing steps

My mobile connect app is not transferring all of my data over, specifically my steps. I didn’t have this issue in the past, not sure why it is happening now
  • Do you mean you're not seeing your steps in Mobile Connect or you're seeing it mobile but not in web connect? If it's the latter, keep in mind that the connection to the watch will update steps on your phone but a sync needs to happen for it to show up on the web.
  • My Garmin 920xt shows between 2-3k more steps than my Garmin connect. I will keep re syncing and it still has a disconnect in my step count

The web application is not showing steps as of February 06 and thus not populating to MFP either. Why?

I've been missing steps and sleep data since Jan 31st, and I am always on the latest hardware version and Garmin Connect version. Very annoying. How do you know the Garmin Connect Server is the problem? My activities (runs, skiing, etc.) are syncing, it's only sleep and steps data that are failing to sync to Garmin Connect. Tried calling Garmin support. They offered two solutions, one was to delete several files from my 920XT, the other was a full factory reset. Of course neither worked. Imagine that, it's not a problem with my unit. It would be nice if Garmin actually tried to troubleshoot these issues a little more thoroughly rather than quickly regurgitating the same tired and useless steps of deleting files and resetting the unit. Those rarely every work.
  • I don't know the 935 at all but is it possible that an accelerometer sync setting flipped to off?
