Connect data with IOS, wrong data and time

I got my Forerunner 30 for the third day.

The data can be synced without problem between the device and Garmin Connect. The problem came in when syncing with ios Healthkit.

When Garmin Connect was freshly installed on the first day, things got synced well. Until the second day, all the data just messed up and steps count didn't get synced from Connect to Healthkit.

So, I uninstalled and deleted all the Connect data from Healthkit. I reinstalled and re-synced, everything back to normal. I thought it was me messed up the settings as I was playing with both apps during the first day.

Today is the third day, same issues come back again! Now, I pretty sure it's Connect issue about their time-zone or time-stamp setup, sort of.

In the morning, Connect already added 0000-2359 data to Healthkit, LOL... And steps count didn't get synced at all. Attached photos are taken on third day morning.

Anyone met with such situation as well? Could you please share how to mitigate this issue?

Thanks!

  • I am having a similar issue. Syncing with Health worked great the first day, come the next day it stopped syncing. I thought it was a fluke or I had changed a setting, the only thing that got it working again was re-installing the connect app. Worked great syncing to health all day again....next day it stopped, nothing changed this time so I know it wasn’t me. (If it matters I am using the new Vivosport and having no issues syncing it to Garmin Connect, it’s just the syncing to Apple Health)
