Unable to Send new/edited workout to device

Since today’s update (05 December), I am unable to send created/edited workouts to the device (Fenix 3). It shows no devices connected, and shows Fenix 3 As “Not Compatible” on Send To screen

Everything else works fine, syncing workouts, notifications, etc...

Hoping for a fix for this soon!
  • Excellent work! Can confirm that it worked with my VA3 to send a strength training workout.

Looks like it's a widespread issue.

+1 here for my 920xt. Unable to send workouts (no compatible device).
  • Unfortunately the calendar work around doesn't seem to load the workout permanently. I used it on Monday and Tuesday to load separate strength workouts to my VA3 and now no workouts show when I go to that menu on the watch and if I select the calendar option it only shows the workout I loaded Tuesday.

The workout is on the iPhone, you just need to reassing it at the calendar every time you want to use it...
  • Add me to the list. Fenix 5x, Workouts from GCM show no compatible devices.

I'm aware that I can continue to use the workaround. But I was hoping that once sent to the watch as part of the calendar it would stay on the watch for further use. If in the normal course of my usage I used the calendar I wouldn't have ever noticed this flaw but if prefer to have a flexible training regimen and keep my frequently used workouts on the watch so I can use them when I want.

This is getting out of control!!! Does Garmin even care about this issue? What is the point of having the watch if you can’t send workouts to it????? This sucks
