Unable to Send new/edited workout to device

Since today’s update (05 December), I am unable to send created/edited workouts to the device (Fenix 3). It shows no devices connected, and shows Fenix 3 As “Not Compatible” on Send To screen

Everything else works fine, syncing workouts, notifications, etc...

Hoping for a fix for this soon!

    I also cannot send workouts from GCM to my 5X. I got the workout to my device by WiFi. This worked before today's update. I sent a new workout yesterday to my watch by GCM.
  • I got the same issue today on my 5. It syncs fine, I can transfer routes, but not workouts - same "not compatible" screen. I have contacted support.

    I think I have a scenario in that same category. Purchased a new map for my Fenix 5x last night....must have updated other parts of the watch, since the app today will not record my day. Real time information shows, walk from the morning shows, but the calendar says “no timeline data for this day”. Every other day for the last two months is filled with data. Spoke to chat support....went through resets, phone reboots and multiple syncing. Nothing. Chat said to download the system update tonight. Will try this. All was working fine, till I synced with my Mac and downloaded new maps.

    Same issue with my 920XT :(

    Thank you for the continued discussion on this topic. We are actively investigating this issue.
  • As a potential workaround, I removed the other watch I had listed in GC. The list of incompatible devices is now gone, possible due to the fact that there is only one device. When trying to transfer the workout to the Fenix 5, nothing happens in GC, no confirmation etc. but the workout was in fact transferred to the watch anyway.

    Obviously a fix is still needed.

    Same here!! Just purchased a VA3 and can’t send workouts to device. Shakey start to wearable life. C’mon Garmin! Fix this!
