Dueling Resting HR Numbers - Which One is Real?

I have an odd finding that I'm looking for some guidance with. I'm about 1 week into using my 935 and I was looking at tracking my resting HR automatically as a real benefit. When I use the connect app, I get two different values. One on the card and the other when I tap the card and look at the plot for the day. What is the difference? Are they calculated differently or is this a bug? Which one should I rely on? The "high" heart rate is also different, but not really of any consequence to me.

For troubleshooting purposes, I did make sure that it was synced. I'm using an iPhone X with the 935. No other devices are writing to my health data. The graph on the watch (which I can't figure out how to get a numerical value from) makes it appear that it's the higher of the two numbers, 41.

Thanks in advance! ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1279193.jpg ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1279194.jpg
  • If I look at the graph it seems to be lagging behind - only has data up to about 4 am whereas the time at the top of your screen is 6.23 so I think that's the root of the difference. On my 935 they are generally in sync but I can't say that I compare that often - I have seen delays between other parts of the app syncing so wouldn't surprise me
  • But that shouldn’t affect the RHR, after all, my HR only went up from there. I could see if it was less on the unsynced data, but that doesn’t make sense to me the other way around. But thanks for the reply... that might have something to do with it.
