Hi all - Is anyone having an issue syncing their VA3? My activities are syncing fine with the mobile and desktop Garmin connect but there are apparently updates that aren't syncing. I've tried deleting and re-installing Garmin Connect on my desktop but still won't upload the updates. X-ref this question in that forum. Thanks~
If you check what needs to be installed, it might just be settings such as a change in weight. I see that you have a few issues issues getting express to recognize your VA3 but once that is solved, you can check by clicking the details link in Express to see what it is. I find that those update flags just never go away.
I am having this problem as well!! Activities synch, but any settings I change (important things like heart rate zones, and less important like watch faces) just give me the nebulous error flag.
As pshare suggests, it's possible to see what is missing via the Express web app, but that doesn't help solve the actual problem since there doesn't seem to be a way to remedy the situation.
I just got my VA3 last week. Had a heck of a time getting it to interact with my iMac. It absolutely wouldn't recognize my 2017 mac book pro. I did contact Garmin and spoke with a very rude gentleman, he later apologized to me after speaking to a technician. I had to delete a file and then it worked. But next day had the same problem. Really didn't resolve the issue, but the VA3 seems to sync fine with my iPhone and the Garmin App so far. I gave up on trying to sync with computer. :eek:?
When I syn with garmin express, there is always a alarm in red stating "There was an error syncing with Garmin Connect". What is the problem? Moreover, my VA3 cannot show the data field downloaded from IQ after I upgraded to the latest version. Can anyone can help?
