Garmin Connect Jr app wont sync with Vivofit Jr 2

Hi all,

I work in a retailer and one of my customers purchased the new Garmin Vivofit Jr 2, however, the device will not sync correctly with the Garmin Connect kids app. it runs through the setup phase and then seems to get stuck in a loop. IT will not display the time, date, images, or activity bar on the device, however just shows steps, activity logo and the wifi symbol for syncing.

The app is up to date and the device is brand new, we also tried a second brand new device with the same issue, it was tried on multiple differentmobilel devices also.

Any tips?

    Was this ever resolved? I've had the jr and now jr2 and have never had this issue, however my kids watch stopped syncing. Tried a few thing ending in deleting the pairing and now it won't re-pair. Tried on both mine and my wife's phone (Android/iPhone) both are failing with network related issues after entering the 6 digit PIN on Android (iPhone seems to skip/auto do this part).
