Connect app doesn't see device (after update)

I've updated my iPhone to the latest iOS and also installed the Connect mobile app latest version and now the app does not see my Forerunner 230. I have jumped through the usual hoops (forgetting device, turning Bluetooth off and on, restarting both devices, etc.) to no avail. Still get "device not found" message every time I try to pair. Suggestions???

Same problem here. They blame iOS 11 and say good luck until apple fixes. Pretty bold

I have the same problem with my Forerunner 935, brand new out of the box yesterday (Nov 6th). Paired for a couple of hrs, lost sync and has not come back since. This is despite all the tricks others have used; turn off/on BT on phone and watch. Remove watch from phone BT list, resetting watch to factory settings, updating watch via Garmin Express, etc....

Hope this is just a short term S/W compatibility issue which will b resolved quickly with an update. Not happy at having spent 100s of £s on a watch that can not even connect via BT, which even my cheap headphones do without any issues!

An urgent response from Garmin would b appreciated, as the alternative is to return the watch and choose another brand!
  • Similar problem with my 35. I can delete and re-pair from app, but it's now required for every workout.
