Latest Update: Where have you hidden the golf information

Thank you Garmin for the latest update. As usual, no information supplied, no idea where you hide stuff that used to be available on the ios app and a notification that deletes itself so if you don't pay attention the first time then tough luck, you should have been!

So I had a page set up that gave me stats on my last 30 rounds of golf. Where is it? And how do I get it back?

Secondly, sort out the notifications so that they don't delete when you come out of them. I'm sure I'm not the only Connect user that doesn't take them all in first time round and they can't refer back to them.

I also want an answer! I played golf yesterday and synced my Vivoactive HR to my iPhone and was able to view my round of golf on Garmin Connect.

Today I noticed that the app updated and my golf info is gone!! I like reviewing my scores, but now can't find the data.

You should be able to see your golf stats in the Activities details menu. Access the Menu (3 line icon on Android or More on iOS)> Activities>Scroll down to the golf section

If you are not seeing this section in the Activites details menu, can you provide a screenshot of what you do see in the app?

The information is there, but why has the access been taken away from the main screen? You used to be able to set up a golf screen which could be accessed by scrolling left or right from the main screen, why is this not available? It's frankly not good enough to have to access it through sub-menu's.

I've been very happy with the Viviactive HR up to now, but I am not happy at all with the latest Connect update. You need to treat all activities the same and let the individual decide what is important to them... although the irony is that Connect doesn't even recognise golf as an 'activity'.

Please revert back to the old layout, the new one is not an improvment.

Totally agree with Keith. The latest update, really screwed your golf community (have you stopped caring about us?). Why do I have to scroll. While I like knowing my steps and distance, GOLF is why I purchased the S60. Please.. either put it back on main screen, with some enhancements (cmon Garmin enhance the app for golf) or create a golf app for us and include more information.. especially information that the watch affords us (i.e. the S60 has swing tempo.. would love to see that on the app). Thanks and please respond and not just with the "we will make your suggestion to developers".. get it done!!!

We appreciate the feedback and we have passed it along.

For users that are mostly interested in tracking the Golf features in an app, we do offer Garmin Golf. This a dedicated app that was released with the S60.

More information can be found here.

We are continuing improve the Garmin Golf app experience.

Thanks Joe. I tried that once and I think it needs work. First off I have to keep it on while playing a round, therefore using GPS, Data and battery (might as well purchase Apple watch then). Secondly it messed up my scores. Probably user issue.. I will try it again.. but for me that app is more about sharing with friends. I don't care about that. I want my stats. I want to see why swing tempo, my stats in a easy to view format so I can understand them, the ability to mark "mess up shot" if I duff, etc, etc. Sorry to say this.. but look at how much functionality the Taylormade app has. WOW. They really created it for us golfers.. just asking Garmin to do the same.. Just seems with all the updates to your other watches you have left us behind.
  • Just to reiterate what others have stated, it looks like ALL the golf specific stats are no longer viewable on the Connect update. I would be amenable to a specific golf app, but the current Garmin Golf app doesn’t do what I want it to do. What the old Connect app did would be okay by me. Thanks

Does the Taylormade app works with iOS and Approach S60?
