Dear Garmin Connect Mobile App team
I have an important Job To Be Done. I, like most every body else, get a lot of email from several email accounts. Not all of these +200 emails are equally important. Until recently i hired my iphone to show me a notification to help me asses whether or not the incoming email was important enough for me to stop what i was doing and read and respond. I was not satisfied with the way my iphone was solving my Job To Be Done. every time i received an emal, i had to reach into my pocket pick up my phone look at the lock screen and do the importance assessment. That was, as most people would agree upon, very disruptive for one self and the surroundings. That is why i was very happy when i found out that i could hire the Fenix 3 HR to do my Job To Be Done. When a new email arrives i can simply flick my wrist and do the importance assessment with a glance - GREAT.
.......BUT as long as my email is marked as unread, my fenix 3 will keep RE-notifying my about "old" email where i have already done the importance assessment. this means that i in stead of doing +200 importance assessments, i need to do one million billion. It also means that my watch face is constantly blocked by a notifications so a am never able to tell what time it is unless i hit the clear button several times. Telling time is sort of an obligatory property of a watch.
So please make an update that will allow me to configure my notifications to ONLY appear once an email arrives and NEVER again. until that update comes i have to Re-hire my old solution and use my iphone to do email importance assessments. I know you have it in you. The app and my watch solves a lot of my other Jobs To Be Done to almost perfection. Why not for the smart watch feature also.
