I am having the same problem with my iPhone 6S Plus. My VivoFit 3 quit syncing. After I uninstalled and reinstalled everything, now it won't pair. I even reset the VivoFit 3 back to factory settings with no luck. It works on another iPhone 6 though. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am on IOS 11.0.1. Upgrading to 11.0.2 did not fix the issue either.
I am having the same issues as others have implied. I cannot sync (and after removing the device I cannot pair it). I have a vivofit 3 trying to sync with iPhone 6s. Reinstalled Garmin mobile app, still nothing. It started happening right after 3.22.2 version or iOS 11.0.2 update.
I've only updated the app on my iPhone 6S - not ios. I'm still on ios 10. My vivofit 3 now no longer syncs - so it's the app, not the ios update that's the issue. The same thing happened last year - I don't think Garmin test their app updates for all devices :(
The only known workaround is to use a laptop with Garmin Express and an ANT+ usb stick (I can confirm that Wiggle?s Lifeline ANT+ stick works with Garmin express and Vivofit 3) this will allow you to setup and sync the vivofit to the Garmin Connect website. The mobile app will at least be able to show the results but still won?t sync with the device unfortunately.
I had the same issue. I found a solution online. If you reset the network setting on your phone and reconnect to your wifi and after that add your device to garmin connect it should be solved. It worked for me!
