Since I updated to iOS 11, Garmin Connect Mobile no longer syncs with my Garmin Fenix 5S automatically via Bluetooth. I need to open the GC Connect App, and them manually click on the sync button (or do the same on my watch).
Has anyone tried the new 11.0.3 update to see if that solves it - reluctant to be the first user!
For now it seems to be working fine, am holding my breath though. Also had a nice email conversation with the Dutch support team about these issues, they suggested the standard approach for resetting, removing and re-adding the devices, to which I replied that this has all been done without resolution. Also sent them the links to most of the topics on this very forum to show what the user community is already attempting, but haven't heard back from them as of yet.

I emailed Garmin Support last weekend and still haven't received an acknowledgement or response. I also upgraded to iOS 11.0.3 and the problem persists. Syncing is very sketchy and hit/miss. This morning, I had to turn my phone off/on to get Garmin Connect to sync.
I have been running iOS 11 since the betas and it stopped working properly as soon as I got iOS 11. I am currently running the current public beta and smart notifications have stopped working too.
Same issue here - 7 Plus with F3 HR. I am installing IOS 11.03 now to see if it makes much difference. This was a regular problem with my Android phone as well - I was hoping that Connect Mobile for IOS would be an improvement connectivity-wise.
I had the same problem. I have a Fenix 5 and Iphone 6S. as soon as I upgraded ti iOS11 my Fenix would not pair. I resolved it as follows:
Fenix 5 7 iOS 11 solution
(1) On Fenix 5 - Hold down Light button (1), goto controls menu - Power off - Power on - Hold down (1), goto controls menu - select green phone icon to disconnect from phone (2) On iPhone, Garmin connect - Delete Phenix 5 device - click on + to add new device - Select Fenix 5 (3) On Penix 5 - Hold down Up Menu (5) - Select Settings - Select Phone - Select Pair Phone - Watch produce a pair code (4) On iPhone, Garmin connect - Add pair code to phone - sync with watch (this takes a while, be patient) (5) All done!!
