Connect App Beta

Hi Eveyone,
I have the connect app on my iPhone 7 and iPad, with my fenix5s syncing to my Iphone & home wifi.
Yesterday while using the app on my iPad I had a pop up asking if I wanted to use the beta app my day, it looks nice.

Im wanting to use the my day beta app on my iPhone as well.
Would anyone know how I get the beta app also on my phone?

Cheers.

  • per many previous posts in this thread

    no way to FORCE THIS
  • After weeks of being frustrated at not having a chance to try the beta, the option suddenly arrived yesterday. Can't say I am that impressed to be honest, gave it a whirl and went back to the non-beta....
  • I got mine yesterday. As I understand, they are slowly rolling out to the users. Interface looks great!

I think that remaining calories is misleading, because it's not remaining anymore if it's -436. ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1249748.png
  • Access to the GCM beta has been slowly rolling out to users. All users will have the option to opt in once the full roll out is complete.

I switched to beta version a couple of days ago. Unfortunately I had to delete and reinstall the app in my iPhone and after that the beta option has disappeared . Will I have this option again?
  • I can confirm that the beta is available on iOS11, particularly as iOS11 is likely to be released publicly later today. Like others, I changed my language setting to English US (not sure if that actually matters), deleted GCM and re-installed it. All settings remain, but I had to log-in and re-pair my fenix 5. Once I'd done that and re-entered my sleep/do not disturb hours and my goals, it asked me if I wanted to try the beta.
  • I went into the settings on the GCM app installed on my iPad, running the latest iOS11 beta, and the beta option was there, my iPhone is still not showing the beta option... I recon it's purely random.
  • I do not like the new look and feel. It does not give as much 'at a glance' information as the current version. Having to scroll through a list of cards rather than having an all-in-one view is *not* a good user experience.
  • I like the new look and feel. I gave the 735xt my wife, I has now a Fenix 5. On hers iPhone (iOS 10.3.3 - german) she used only my Garmin Index Scale and after password forget function we add the 735xt on hers iPhone, and she has the beta function, now. On my iPhone (same iOS) I try all, change the language, deinstall and install Garmin Connect, disconnected and register again, but no beta , unfortunately. Its pure random...

And I love it and I am really sad that my beta testing endet after a day or two...
