Connect App Beta

Hi Eveyone,
I have the connect app on my iPhone 7 and iPad, with my fenix5s syncing to my Iphone & home wifi.
Yesterday while using the app on my iPad I had a pop up asking if I wanted to use the beta app my day, it looks nice.

Im wanting to use the my day beta app on my iPhone as well.
Would anyone know how I get the beta app also on my phone?

I think I understand why some people (including me) are not getting access to the beta. This morning I downloaded Garmin Connect mobile to my Android device that I use for testing apps running Nougat and I got offered access straight away. I also installed it on a spare iPhone running iOS 10 and got access to the beta straight away. On my main phone I am running iOS 11 Beta and I suspect that this is preventing me downloading the Beta version of the Garmin Connect app

Anyone else running iOS 11 and not getting access?

Well I just deleted and re-installed GCM on my iPhone running IOS 10.3.3.... still can't see any option to use the Beta interface.
On the positive side, doesn't seem like I've lost any settings/configurations.

How can I get the beta on my iPhone? Yesterday I was using my ipad and I got a msg asking if I wanted to use the beta. I need the beta on my iPhone, that is where I use the app the most.

As suggested many times in this forum it has only been rolled out to "random" "selected users"

Some have managed to "get selected" by uninstalling and reinstalling but this does not seem to always work.
If you have it on your ipad then why is this not ok? I understand that the phone may be your primary interface but you can still see and interact with the Beta app on the ipad to preview and comment on the app to the beta team ahead of any future app update.
Generally beta versions are "controlled" like this to "selected users" (random or not at the discretion of the developers) to allow use time and feedback to prevent mass hysteria (and forum blaming and trolling should it be released to all) in the event of bugs and scalability testing. One only need to look through these forum to see some of the potential for over the top reaction and hysteria that bugs or "new features/changes" can create (some may be founded and fair but IMO most are just trolling). Some people may not be as willing or level headed enough to provide objective constructive feedback on the basis of understanding that they are on a BETA.*
work with what you have and provide feedback (you can submit feedback as often as you like via the beta app) from your iPad for the development of the future app so that all users will benefit in time.

Updated GCM today totally expecting to see the updated home page tested in the beta, wonder why it wasn?t implemented? The course creator doesn?t work for me, could be as a result of being on iOS 11.

Maybe? The new My Day is displaying as in the beta and the course creator is working for me on the most recent iOS 10 on a 6s.

iOS 10.3 and mine still shows the old format. I wonder if the new layout only shows if you were one of the ones that had the beta option, I never could see that setting under settings. In the description on the app store it still shows the old look for My Day.

If your phone hasn't updated the app yet you won't see the new interface. I manually updated when I saw the announcement otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it until I put my phone on the charger tonight.

?!?! I think people are taking about AFTER they update the app.

I've updated and can see the new features. But it's still the old interface. I guess we'll have to wait a little longer.
